Greetings to all CAV members.
It’s been a while since we updated our members with what is happening at the CAV inside and outside. In this newsletter edition, I’d like to share with you some updates at the CAV.
Our 2022 AGM was held in March with a “new” EXCO team being elected. I’d like to congratulate the 11 re-elected and 2 new members of Executive Board for 2022 and I am looking forward to us working together to achieve a lot of things this year.
CAV’s 40th Anniversary
How time flies! Our focus this year is our celebration of CAV’s 40th Anniversary. This is a big milestone for CAV as we look back at what has been achieved over the last 40 years.
Following tradition, we will be printing a special, hard copy magazine to commemorate the anniversary, and the editorial team lead by Mai Saw is now working hard to gather photos and reports for it. If you have any good photos or articles for the magazine, give Mai Saw a call.
Our Ruby Gala Night will be held on Sunday, 30th October 2022 at The Vogue Ballroom – Burwood East. After a 2 years absence from our social events calendar, this will be the highlight of the year for the CAV. This event will not be a fundraising activity and will be dedicated to socialising with old friends.
