40 years ago, a group of very forward looking visionaries in Melbourne, decided that they could affect positive change for our community here in Victoria.

Their crazy idea was to go purchase a 5 acre (20,000 sqm) piece of land in Wantirna to build a chinese school and a clubhouse for the new chinese immigrants coming into Victoria.

None of them were rich enough to do it by themselves, but as a group, pitching in their own time and resources, they made the impossible, POSSIBLE.

But the best part of their achievement was that in working together, they became great FRIENDS.

Remember those special days?

All those meetings. Endless paperwork and practice. The aching feet. But it really was the coffee breaks, the shared experiences, those lunches or dinners that brought us closer together. As friends and as a community.

There are so many people that we have worked and played together with, that we haven’t seen in a long while. Wouldn’t it be great to catch up with them again?

Why not get a table together and relive those happy days? Be it a BDG class, a golf group, a CAV sub group committee or an EXCO team. Why wait? We are not getting any younger!

Venue:	Vogue Ballroom 399 Blackburn Road, Burwood East, VIC 3151
Live Band:	Funkenflurter – 7 piece band
Dress Code:	Black Tie
Price:	$1,500 per table of 10 or $150 per seat (run of house)

This is not a fund raising event. All collections will go to the gala ball.

If you don’t have enough people for a table, we can advertise your table for you on this page. If you can’t fill it, we will try and allocate people to your table (and refund the difference to you).
Alternatively, you can advertise for a group and when you have ten people, you can book a table. (for last table availability – priority will be given to tables which are paid up)
