The Chinese Association of Victoria
Formed in 1982, the Chinese Association of Victoria is the largest Chinese-Australian Association in Victoria and has a proud history.
From the five-acre club facility that it owns in Wantirna, the CAV conducts numerous activities including a weekend Chinese language school, Ballroom Dancing, Table Tennis, Tai Ji, and Karaoke for its 1000+ members. It is a registered Not-for-Profit charity organisation.

Come join our community! Aside from a myriad of weekly activities, come meet and interact with other people and make new friends. Bring your children along to our many cultural events, so they can learn something about their cultural heritage.

Our Mission & Vision
Promoting Chinese language, art, dance and music; and to preserve the Chinese Heritage
We encourage integration with Australian society, and actively support multiculturalism in Australia. The Chinese have a rich cultural heritage which we can share with other Australians and ethnic communities. We promote greater understanding and appreciation of the Chinese Community in Australia. At the same time we look after the Chinese welfare and cater to our special needs.
We play an active and positive role in affairs which fall into our Objectives.

Table Tennis
For all who love the convenient and brisk sport of table tennis: male and female, young and old, novices and champions.
Tai Ji
Classes are conducted by Master Anthony Lun and assistant instructor Beng Law, and are structured to suit all ages and different skill levels.
Ballroom Dance
Have a great time learning all the 5 Standard dances, namely, Modern Waltz, Tango, Slow Foxtrot, Quickstep and Viennese Waltz; as well as the 5 Latin-American dances: Samba, Cha Cha Cha, Rumba, Jive and Paso Doble. All levels catered for.
