This year, our 2021 Year of the Ox, Yee Sang dinner will be hosted by the CAV EXCO on Saturday, 20th February 2021. It is a good opportunity to bring all CAV members together with their families and friends. This dinner is a popular event and is usually sold out within 2 days. We encourage you to book as soon as you receive this email so you don’t miss out.
Due to Victoria State Government regulations regarding COVID19 Safety, there will only be 80 seats available. Bookings will be on a first-come-first-served-basis.
This function is not a fund-raising event, and there will be no official speeches. We are delighted that Mary of Shangri-La has kept the same price as last year. Tickets are $65 each or $650 per table. In the spirit of the traditional Chinese New Year celebrations, we will have a Lion Dance Performance by Kelvin Kan and his team, but outside of the restaurant due to Covid Safety requirements.

Once your booking has been received, we will send you an email with payment details. Seats will be on hold for 5 days until payments are fully received. When payments are received in full, your seats will be confirmed by return email. Please note that there is no cancellation or refund (except where the event is cancelled by us due to Covid restrictions). If you cannot make this event, you will have to find your own replacement. We would appreciate a email to notify us of your substitutions.
