Mental Health Help Card

The Knox Mental Health Help Card provides key information for people seeking access to mental health support services.

When people experience mental health problems, it can impact their ability to cope with day-to-day tasks. Some of the elements that can affect people’s mental health are: drugs and alcohol, gambling, mental illness, lack of basic needs (housing, food and employment), stress, trauma and relationship problems.

All service provider’s details listed in this Card are given in good faith and for the needs of all people, regardless of disability, sexuality, gender identify, culture and religion.

COVID 19 Community and Welfare Relief Service Information

Knox City Council has developed a COVID 19 Community and Welfare Relief Service information webpage. This resource has been developed to inform Knox residents about community and welfare relief services that are available to them during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

The Resource details services that provide food relief, financial and housing support, family violence, mental health, drug and alcohol, legal support and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Services. This Resource will be updated regularly. In the interest of staff and volunteer safety, it is strongly recommended that you call the providers listed regarding their available services.
