CAV offers a wide range of cultural and recreational activities to its members
CAV Membership
CAV Membership Fee is $98 per family per calendar year plus once-off joining fee of $11 per family for new members, open to all. No Pro-rata on Membership fees

Chinese Language School
We offer your children the opportunity to learn the Chinese language and culture from kindergarten to Year 12 (We are a VCE single language provider). No tuition fees for Kinder enrolment. Saturday and Sunday 9:30 am – 12:30 pm, during school terms.

Table Tennis
Open to anyone interested in playing social or competitive table tennis in bright, spacious and friendly surroundings. Playing facilities available on Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday and Saturday 10:00 am – 5:00 pm. Sunday 12:30 – 5:00 pm.
Fees: CAV member $90 per year. Casual: $5 per session.

Social Dance Group
Our team of 2 experienced teachers will guide you through Ballroom, Latin, Rock&Roll, & other social styles.
Lessons every Wednesday Beginners & Intermediate class (singles welcome) 7.30 – 10.30pm
Fees (CAV member):
Full Dance Fees – $300 for 6 months, $550 yearly, + CAV Membership (pls refer above)
Beginners, first lesson free. Casual rates at $100 for 4 contiguous classes (4 weeks) – No Membership required
Full dance fees (above) apply on pro-rata basis + CAV Membership (pls refer below)

Ballroom Dancing
Lessons every Thursday for Basic, Casual-No membership required 6.15 – 7.15pm
Bronze Level class, 7.30pm -10.00pm

Casual $10 pp
Bronze Level Class: $300 for 6 months, $500 yearly

Tai Ji
Tai Ji aims to help members to maintain good general health. Lessons include Breathing and stretching exercises, Tai Ji forms and weaponry. Sunday 9:30 am -12:30 noon during CAV school terms and Tuesday 7:30pm – 9:30 pm. 4 workshops per year.
Fees: CAV members – $30 per school term for the 1st 4 terms, subsequently $15 per term onwards.
Non-CAV member $65 per school term

Karaoke
Twice monthly Karaoke session at CAV centre on every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month 6:30 pm – 10:00 pm. Touch screen Karaoke with 13,000 English and 25,000 Chinese songs. Bring your own VCD or DVD.
Fees: CAV members $6 per session. Non-CAV members $8 per session (dessert, tea and coffee provided).
