What We Do
Cultural Events & Social Gatherings
We host a variety of events that bring people together, from celebrating Chinese festivals to engaging in fun social gatherings.

We offer workshops, life skills training, discussion panels, and guest speaker events on art, culture, and social topics, fostering creativity, personal growth, and meaningful connections within a supportive community.
Sports & Recreation

Meet Our Team

Justin Chua - Chairperson
Justin Chua is a general practice lawyer at Chua Tan Associates, a law firm with a presence across Australia. He played a key role in founding the CAV youth group, working alongside a team of committed volunteers. With a strong passion for physical fitness, Justin also helps coordinate the group’s sports activities, aiming to foster greater connections among young people in a healthy and active environment. Fluent in both Chinese and English, Justin is dedicated to supporting the Chinese Australian community grow.

Erick Zhou - Treasurer
Erick is a aspiring lawyer at Monash who currently works in Healthcare. He has a passion for advocacy and recently won a competition judged by an Australian High Court Justice. Outside of university, Erick has worked as a educator, going across Victoria to deliver engaging seminars to students regarding VCE study skills. Erick moved to Australia at the age of 8. He joined CAV to engage with his cultural background and celebrate his heritage. Since then, he has become the marketing director at CAV Youth and hopes to inspire and support students through their educational journey.
