No Medicare Card?  No problem.

No valid visa?  No problem.

Don’t want to give your address?  No problem.

This does not prevent you accessing Covid vaccination. You do not have to have a Medicare card and if you have no fixed address this is not an issue. What’s important is that you and the rest of the community are protected.

We have spoken to the Eastern Access Community Hospital (EACH) and they are understanding of these issues, so when you turn up at their reception desk with less than the usual documents, you will still be offered the vaccine. So here is how to do it.

Step 1:
Book a vaccination time slot.

EACH has 3 fixed sites:

Book the COVID-19 vaccination by calling 1300 097 151, 8:30am – 4pm or online (go to: https://www.each.com.au/covid-19-vaccination-clinics/ for links to each clinic below).

We recommend you pre-register before attending a clinic to secure an appointment. They have limited capacity for drop-in appointments, so you may experience longer wait times if you have not pre-registered.

The Clinics are located at:

Ringwood East
Ringwood East Community Clinic
304A Maroondah Highway, Ringwood
Access from Braeside Avenue
(former Maroondah City Council civic offices)
1300 097 151

Kilsyth
115 Liverpool Road, Kilsyth
Inside the Kilsyth Sporting Centre
1300 097 151
No walks-in available

Pakenham
James Bathe Community and Sports Hub
67 Caversham Drive, Pakenham
Open: 10am-4.30pm
No walks-in available

Step 2:
Turn up for your shot.

When you turn up, you will need to prove your identity (so you can get your second shot later) and your age to determine which vaccine that you can get. The rules will apply to you the same as anyone else.

What to expect when you attend for vaccination: the link above contains a short video which shows what happens at an EACH clinic…this is the Ringwood clinic and each of the clinics works a little differently but the process is the same.
