Activities
So far, WIN has involved in the following activities:
- participated in the Landcare weekend at Hindmarsh
- run seminars on breast and prostate cancer, osteoporosis and family relationship needs issues
- organised a job hunting/recruitment workshop and
held a mini Health Expo
Since its inception, WIN has also involved in the Pink Ribbon, the Biggest Morning Tea and the Daffodil Day fund raising drives for the Cancer Council.
Events
One other thing that is important to WIN is to try to inject new blood into our association. With this in mind, we have organised functions like the Fashion Parade, Glitter and Glamour Night, Trivia Night and Car Rallies in an attempt to entice youth interest. These events also helped us to raise funds for our free seminars and other community work.
Community services participation is rewarding and fulfilling. WIN is always happy to welcome new members to join us.
