CAV Golf Group consists of about 100 keen golfers who are members of various golf clubs, private & public.
Our Annual Golf Championships consists of, the 'Open' (stroke play), 'A', 'B' and 'C' Divisions (stableford) for both mens and womens. The Championships are usually played at different courses each year and usually consists of 72 players.
Seniors Golf Challenge Trophy is also awarded each year for competitors who are 60 yrs or over.
The Valentine Shield competition is for golfing couples and is also played annually followed by a Valentine dinner.
Weekend getaway golfing trips are arranged annually to various resort golf courses for members who wish to participate. This year is at Horsham on 8th to 9th October 2010.
Other social golf competitions against various community and sporting groups are also played annually.
CAV members and friends can play at our social golfing tournaments, however, only CAV members can win the Board events at the CAV Annual Championships.
