Ballroom Dancing

The  CAV Ballroom Dancing Group (BDG) offers members the chance to learn all the 5 Standard dances, namely, Modern Waltz, Tango, Slow Foxtrot, Quickstep and Viennese Waltz; as well as the 5 Latin-American dances: Samba, Cha Cha Cha, Rumba, Jive and Paso Doble. The Australian New Vogues dances are also taught. From time to time, Street Latin such as Salsa and Merengue are included in the teaching program.
