CAV CHINESE SCHOOL DELEGATION TO CHINA
On 19 July 2010 CAV Chinese School delegation led by Principal Ramona Chua with 10 students, flew to China under the invitation of Overseas Chinese Affairs Department of the Government of City of Shanghai to participate in 2010 Students Summer World Youth Camp. The number invited for CAV was limited to 10 lucky students only. All together there were about 1600 students invited from around the world including Australia, US, UK, New Zealand, Germany, France, Denmark, Japan, Canada, Spain, Switzerland etc. Apart from organised student camp activities with exposure to Chinese language practice, cultural program and of course a special visit to Shanghai Expo.
They will spend time in Shanghai from 19/7/10 till 24/7/10 and fly to Beijing from 24/7/10 till 29/7/10 and back to Australia on 29/7/10.
In Beijing, they will be hosted by Overseas Chinese Affairs Department from National Premier Office visiting Great Wall, Imperial Palace etc. We wish them a great and fulfilling journey to their ancestral land.
